American Braiding Style 8100BIL Compression / Braided Packing

Braided from filament yarn made from high quality graphite and PTFE, Style 8100BIL is easy to cut and install, yet more extrusion resistant that other graphite/PTFE packings.

Applications:

• A proprietary high-speed lubricant is added for quick break-in and low friction during operation.
• Designed for use in valves, centrifugal pumps, high-speed rotary and reciprocating pumps, 8100BIL combines the heat dissipation properties of graphite, with the chemical resistance of PTFE.

Compatible With:

Chemically inert over the entire 0-14 pH range with these exceptions: molten alkali metals, flourides, aleum, fuming nitric acid, aqua regia, and other strong oxidizing agents.
