Garlock 9850 (Black Sheet)
Garlock HIGH-TEMP 9850 Carbon fiber/graphite flake with high-temperature fillers and a nitrile (NBR) binder.
A high temperature gasket sheet of carbon fibers/graphite flake and a nitrile binder that is used for high-temperature aliphatic hydrocarbon service.
These hi-temp gasket materials have been laboratory tested for fire safety. They maintain effective seal during pressure and temperature fluctuations. Garlock high temp gasket materials’ superior torque retention lowers leakage rates and reduces maintenance time.
Applications:
- Heat and oxidation resistance
- Carbon fiber gasketing excels in harshest conditions – intense heat, high pressure, saturated steam* and hot oils.
- Laboratory-tested for fire safety.
- Long-lasting seal – Unique manufacturing process minimizes cold flow and creep relaxation problems
- Versatile – Ideal for standard ANSI flanged connectors, as well as turbine crossover piping connectors
- Multiple applications in power generation, chemical processing, hydrocarbon processing, and other industries
